  • ... that 2 Cheap Cars pulled a TV ad in New Zealand because children were copying the "Ah so" phrase that was used in it, which they often made sound like "asshole"? Source: Stuff.nz

General: Article is new enough and long enough

Policy compliance:

Hook eligibility:

QPQ: Done.

Overall:   I did an extensive copyedit of the article to remove duplicate information, merge sections into the history subheading and removing WP:PROMO text. The C of E please doublecheck the article to ensure the new text accurately reflects the sources. I didn't approve the hook because the text is convaluted. I have proposed ALTs below. • ALT1:... that 2 Cheap Cars withdrew a TV ad in New Zealand because children were copying the main character's catchphrase, "Ah so", which the children sometimes pronounced as "asshole"?
  • ALT2:... that 2 Cheap Cars withdrew a TV ad in New Zealand because children were copying the main character's catchphrase and mispronouncing it as "asshole"?
  • ALT3:... that 2 Cheap Cars withdrew a TV ad in New Zealand because children were mispronouncing the main character's catchphrase as "asshole"?

Let me know which you prefer, or if you have another ALT suggestion. Z1720 (talk) 00:59, 27 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
