editWar Crimes section edited due to insufficient sources. Kenaz9 16:29, 10 May 2006 (UTC)
Starting tonight I'm going to translate from the Spanish article which has been marked as good. I'll retain as much English information as possible because to me it seems quite good. if theres anything that should/could be lost I'd be open to hearing it. Done, please if people can port over the pictures with Anglicised descriptions, or even better, find more informative original information, please go ahead. Mwheatley1990 (talk) 00:44, 25 April 2011 (UTC)
mistake in the text regarding the deployment to Normandy
editThe division was ordered to Normandy on 9 June, first elements arrived 12 June, tracked vehicles by 20 June (Source: Normandy 1944: German Military Organization, Combat Power and Organizational Effectiveness) . The spies who kept the division away from Normandy probably existed in the head of the person who wrote this piece. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Paspartoo (talk • contribs) 15:47, 17 October 2012 (UTC)
Where is the information??
editWhy has all the information been deleted on this article? It was a very good source and now is just the bare bones of the history. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.163.39.117 (talk) 21:32, 14 June 2016 (UTC)
War crimes in Poland
editAfter providing inline references for the article the only claim I could not find a reference for is the one about war crimes in Poland. Online searches for 2nd Panzer Division and war crimes or Kriegsverbrechen inevitably brings up the 2nd SS Panzer Division rather then the Wehrmacht one. I have tagged it with a citation needed template for now but, to remain part of the article, it really needs an inline citation. Calistemon (talk) 01:44, 19 June 2016 (UTC)
