Objection to proposed deletion

edit

A number of articles relating to early periods in North American History have been proposed for deletion because "Archaeology of the Americas gives accepted phases for North American history; this segment appears to be arbitrary."

I disagree with this, this article (and its siblings) are obviously intended to form a timeline that could be overlaid over other regions of the world without reference to geographically-specific "phases." Furthermore, the cited article describes the five phases as "simplistic" and notes that they have been replaced with "more local classifications." Crypticfirefly 05:17, 21 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Pottery?

Originated in America? I highly doubt this, and it certainly needs a source.Jarhed (talk) 10:57, 29 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

add america bc

edit

needed to be added to this timeline are the proofs by Prof Barry Fell of Egyptian copper mining (15,000 pits) in Michigan peninsula approx 2,000-1,500 BC (decried by archelologists with no knowledge of the anciuent languages Prof Fell had experts translate) and adding Sumerian writing found in Peru dating to 2,000 BC also, along with the Davenport, Iowa stelae setting forth Egyptian priest of Osiris ritual. These undeniable facts create a whole new proven panoply of Euro, Mideastern presence across the Americans of which the mystics of academe are fatally ignorant. And add also the ceramic glazed cooking balls (Egyptian) found along the Southeastern US coasts (my estimate 1,500 BC). Show shenk XXX Sr 69.121.221.97 (talk) 10:02, 6 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
