309th Troop Carrier Group
editOn October 18, 2012 the article on the 309th Troop Carrier Group was made a redirect to this article and the material there was moved to this article. However, article history for the 309th Troop Carrier Group prior to that date remains with that article. --Lineagegeek (talk) 20:29, 18 October 2012 (UTC)

Merger
editThe article on the 426th Bombardment Squadron should be merged into this article. Unlike the other squadrons assigned to the group, the 426th had no separate history from the group, and even that history was shared entirely with the group for two years as a training unit during World War II. No separate notability. --Lineagegeek (talk) 18:53, 19 September 2021 (UTC)
Lineagegeek (talk) 21:36, 6 October 2021 (UTC)The contents of the 426th Bombardment Squadron page were merged into 309th Maintenance Wing on 6 October 2021. For the contribution history and old versions of the redirected page, please see its history; for the discussion at that location, see its talk page.
