Think of a Wikipedia article like a college research paper; if you can't find a source for it, don't put it on here. :) PistolPete037 (talk) 19:58, 14 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

For the love of Christ or whatever deity you prefer to pray to DO NOT put potentially sensitive information on the friggin internet!!!!!! You do not know who is reading this! What exactly are you talking about? -Ed!(talk)(Hall of Fame) 21:58, 12 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
Some idiot named User:Joshuadelung posted the brigade's entire deployment schedule for the whole world to see. That kind of information in the wrong hands can get people killed. My rant isn't directed at normal civilian users, but users in the military who should know better than to do this. PistolPete037 (talk) 22:15, 12 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
Much of the rotation information for the BCTs and major commands for the next few years have been posted by the Army on its website. As for the specifics of where the unit will be training and which FOB it will be posted at, I don't see that information as sensitive, though it did constitute Original Research and should not have been added. -Ed!(talk)(Hall of Fame) 22:48, 12 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
Based upon the last information that I received, some of what he posted was classified, he never should have posted it anywhere on the internet, let alone Wikipedia. The rest of the information, while not technically "classified" was still for official use only and should not have put here. As for deployment dates, I have read many articles on 30th HBCTs deployment so that I can figure out what I can put here and what I can't, and nowhere in any article did I see a schedule as detailed as his. While this information may not seem important, when they are combined together, little pieces like this allow the enemy to see a much larger picture. Joshuadelung was reckless and irresponsible for putting that information on here. PistolPete037 (talk) 23:10, 12 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
