Rank equivalents
editG'day, Generalleutnant and Generalmajor were not equivalent to their literal translations during WWII (they are now under NATO though). Then they were equivalent to Major general and Brigadier general (US Army) respectively. General der XXXX was equivalent to Lieutenant general during WWII.
