"700 Marines and 100 Sailors"
editWhy does it state "700 Marines and 100 Sailors" 700 Marines sounds about right but 100 sailors seems too many. You have about a dozen corpsmen throughout the battalion. With a chaplain and surgeon and staff you might have 15-20 but 200? 3rd Battalion 5th Marines and other battalion webpages indicate "1000 Marines and sailors" - where do they get this number too? Someone needs to explain/elaborate. --131.122.62.80 19:43, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
