Article improvement(s)
editI've re-done the first sentence by adding "Ipracetin" which is stated by Erowid.org as alternative name, and deleting "4-Ace" which was unsourced, and could be applied to any of the "4-Acetoxy" tryptamines. I don't know if it would be necessary for "Ipracetin" to be cited with a reference, but feel free to add it with the link I've already provided.--Astavats 03:40, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
Structure image required
editThis article needs a new structure image--ChemSpiderMan (talk) 06:04, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
- You're right, I just noticed the missing nitrogen. I can draw a new one if needed, but I don't know how to add/replace. Just a suggestion.--Astavats (talk) 00:08, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
- Replaced. -- Ed (Edgar181) 20:35, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
- Nice, the new molecule looks clean, but the CAS number you added doesn't seem to be correct. It says "No term found." - take a look at it.--Astavats (talk) 01:03, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
- The CAS number is correct. The database the link automatically goes to just doesn't have a record for every chemical compound with CAS number. 11:44, 25 January 2008 (UTC)
- Oh I see, never mind then.--Astavats (talk) 01:03, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
- There is a discussion going on about CAS over here. Making a link between the CAS number and MeSH to provide a page with no information seems of little value. Why do it?--ChemSpiderMan (talk) 14:55, 26 January 2008 (UTC)

Article naming
editI think the proper name for this compound would be 4-Acetoxy-DiPT. --Harbinary (talk) 08:07, 11 January 2009 (UTC)
- I agree. And the article can't be moved to the correct spelling because it doesn't recognize the alternate capitalization as a separate page. =( Enix150 (talk) 11:36, 25 November 2011 (UTC)
- It does recognize it as a different page, that's not the problem. The problem is that 4-Acetoxy-DiPT (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) has a non-trivial edit history. 70.24.248.23 (talk) 06:49, 30 November 2011 (UTC)

4-Acetoxy-DIPT → 4-Acetoxy-DiPT – Relisted. Vegaswikian (talk) 00:47, 7 December 2011 (UTC) The capitalization is incorrect for this naming system. Enix150 (talk) 06:16, 30 November 2011 (UTC)
