No. 401 Squadron RAFNo. 401 Squadron RCAF — It was at the beginning of an RCAF Squadron, it is still included in the RCAF Order of Battle, and has been and active Air Command squadron. I'm not sure where the evidence is to claim it as an RAF squadron, quite frankly. — McMuff (talk) 16:02, 23 March 2009 (UTC) Reply

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on No. 401 Squadron RCAF. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Gp/Ct Hartland de Montarville Molson

edit

Although not the most notable pilot with the squadron, he was a very notable personality, future president of the family's brewing empire, the Molson Brewery Company, who also went on to serve as a Senator. During the Battle of Britain he shot down one He.111, and damaged four other aircraft before being shot down (& wounded) on his 62nd combat mission.

Is this significant enough for his name to be mentioned? There are other squadron entries on Wikipedia that identify notable people who have done less (maybe). e.g. see list at No. 615 Squadron RAF#Notable_Squadron_members
