I've removed the reference to 40 Glocc - Outspoken - BallerStauts.com. The article isn't at BallerStatus.com, there isn't a copy of the page at archive.org, and Google returns no results for "colton city", "perfect storm", or "zoo babies" on the BallerStatus site, so the article content doesn't appear to be on the site under another name. I tried censoring this article a while back, but it was reverted. Tho, there is still some content censored. Not sure what the idea is here, do we keep it this way, or censor it all, or undo the censoring? Matthew.toffelmire (talk) 18:18, 6 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
In general Wikipedia is not censored. You can read about it here and specifically about profanity here. As for the part that's censored now, I assume you're talking about the quote used in the The Game section? There are a couple of problems with that quote. One is that I'm not not sure I see how it belongs as it's a primary source and Wikipedia strongly prefers secondary sources (using primary sources smacks too much of original research and unless a reliable secondary source talks about it it's hard to establish notability on things like this). The other problem is that there is no citation for this quote. When dealing with biographies of living people WP:BLP we must be very careful about what we let in. Putting all that together and that three of the four references in this section are to videos/song recordings probably means we just need to delete that section.
I haven't looked through the rest of the article but I suspect these same problems might be repeated elsewhere which would probably warrant the removal of that information as well. If no one else makes the effort to check through the kinds and quality of references used I will and will boldy start deleting stuff. SQGibbon (talk) 03:48, 7 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
