Pre-FLC review
editIn the first-sentence quote, you can add an en dash for the time range even though it isn't in the quote. Style fixes like that are allowed and encouraged.

That sentence is long and a run-on. I'd recommend splitting the part after the quote into its own sentence.

Should there be periods in AJ Hammer's first name?
- Done. — SoapFan12 (talk, contribs) 03:16, 8 September 2013 (UTC)
"and Hammer Christi Paul hosted the pre-show." Should Hammer be here?

"The acceptance speech format was altered to adding live on-stage interviews...". "adding" → "add"?
- Done. — SoapFan12 (talk, contribs) 03:16, 8 September 2013 (UTC)
"The Ellen DeGeneres Show won its fourth win...". "won its fourth win" is redundant by nature. Surely another arrangement is possible?

Remove "has" from "Steve Harvey has received two nominations for hosting duties".
- Done. — SoapFan12 (talk, contribs) 03:16, 8 September 2013 (UTC)
Winners and nominees: "the winner of the category shown first" needs "is" before "shown".

Several photos still need alt text.

Presenters and performers: The names should be sorting by last name, not first name.
- Done. — SoapFan12 (talk, contribs) 03:16, 8 September 2013 (UTC)
Not done. They're still sorting by first name. Try looking through the current FLCs and find one with sort templates, which will allow for last name sorting.Giants2008 (Talk) 00:17, 14 September 2013 (UTC)
- You must be kidding me?! The names are sorted by last name. Do not want to be rude, but are you blind? lol. JK Btw, I am not going to waste my time looking at current FLC. Wait do you mean doing this: ex: Meade, Robin? — SoapFan12 (talk, contribs) 01:12, 14 September 2013 (UTC)
Please listen to me instead of acting out and asking if the commenter is blind. I assure you that I am not, and such comments don't add to my desire to contribute on this site, regardless of whether they were intended as a joke. When you click on the Name column to sort, you should find the table sorting like this: Alex Trebek, Bethenny Frankel, Betty White, etc. In other words, not by last name, which would be last names starting with A and going down. There are sort templates that you can use to force sorting by last name, instead of making the table look ugly by showing the names as last name first. Other FLs have them, and I'm sure you can use them as examples.Giants2008 (Talk) 01:22, 16 September 2013 (UTC)
- Done. Furthermore, I apologize. — SoapFan12 (talk, contribs) 02:25, 16 September 2013 (UTC)
That's okay. Unfortunately, it looks like all you did was add a sorting command, which didn't fix the problem itself. Try looking at the formatting of the names in Super Bowl Most Valuable Player Award, an FL I've worked on in the past. Adding the templates that are used in that article will result in last name sorting, which is what you want.Giants2008 (Talk) 02:12, 18 September 2013 (UTC)

Ref 6 needs a publisher. Also, is this (also used in refs 7 and 14) a reliable source?
- Done. Yes, the are very reliable sources. — SoapFan12 (talk, contribs) 03:16, 8 September 2013 (UTC)
- Okay, but why are they very reliable? That answer doesn't tell me much about why I should consider the source good enough for an FL. Giants2008 (Talk) 00:17, 14 September 2013 (UTC)
- Soapcentral is a very reliable source since it is run by a reporter. Also, if you have not notice every one uses this especially soaps operas realated articles. Furthermore, he went to Daytims Emmys since 1999. Tells me, this is a excellent source. — SoapFan12 (talk, contribs) 01:08, 14 September 2013 (UTC)
- Fine. I don't want to argue about anything here anymore, and I've spent more time than I wanted to on this review. Just don't be shocked if somebody else challenges that site in a future FLC. Giants2008 (Talk) 01:22, 16 September 2013 (UTC)
Ref 14 has a formatting issue that is causing code to show up to the readers. Looks like a curly bracket is missing at the end.
- Done. — SoapFan12 (talk, contribs) 04:15, 8 September 2013 (UTC)
What makes Soap Central (ref 16) reliable?
- Done. Soapcentral is a very reliable source but I removed it since the source has the exact same informations as the others. — SoapFan12 (talk, contribs) 03:16, 8 September 2013 (UTC)
Giants2008 (Talk) 01:18, 8 September 2013 (UTC)
Ref 7 has all caps that need fixing.
- Done. — SoapFan12 (talk, contribs) 03:16, 8 September 2013 (UTC)
- Again not done. "ALL" is still in capital letters. Giants2008 (Talk) 00:17, 14 September 2013 (UTC)
- Are we looking at the same source? "ALL" is no where to be found. Please be more specific. — SoapFan12 (talk, contribs) 01:08, 14 September 2013 (UTC)
- I'm sorry; I had the wrong word. It was "NEW" that was fully capitalized. That should have been spotted anyway, but I'm sure knowing the right word will make things easier now. Giants2008 (Talk) 01:22, 16 September 2013 (UTC)
Giants2008 (Talk) 01:18, 8 September 2013 (UTC)
- No worries, Done. — SoapFan12 (talk, contribs) 02:25, 16 September 2013 (UTC)
"and Robin Meade for the first time also, Hammer and Christi Paul who hosted the pre-show ceremony." This doesn't read well even after the changes; the "for the first time also" part is poorly placed, and a word is needed between the comma and Hammer.

Typo in the Ricki Lake alt text: "brunnette".
