editit looks like there are 2 items here that refer to the same event, just that the name is spelled differently: Oisc or Esc
they can't both become King of Kent can they? ;-)
- Oisc becomes king of Kent.
- According to the Anglo-Saxon Chronicle, Hengist dies and is succeeded by his son Esc as king of Kent.
