Cleanup tag

edit

Hi Schwede66, could you please take a look at this article as @User:Onel5969 tagged it, along other articles like 6th Military Region (Yemen), 5th Military Region (Yemen), 3rd Military Region (Yemen), with cleanup templates. I dont know exactly if he has a problem with Arabic sources/ citations. Thanks Awam King (talk) 17:49, 16 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Yes, that tag is fair enough. You have an unreferenced paragraph (under the heading "Structure") and the list of leaders needs a reference for each entry. If you've got one reference that lists all the leaders, it would be easiest to write a sentence above the list (e.g. "The following generals have held the leadership position for this region:") and add that reference to that sentence; that's good enough and easier than to repeat the same reference with each list entry. Hi Awam King and Schwede66 - Yes, Schwede66 hit the nail directly on the head. And yes, I do have difficulty reading Arabic sources, as most readers of English WP would. What helps is when the Arabic version of something is included in parentheses, that way we can past it into a search engine and see if it's included in the citation. (same with other languages like Japanese, Russian, etc.). Onel5969 TT me 18:55, 16 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
ِِAha, i thoutht the problem is with the article itself. Got it. will do add all references. Thanks Awam King (talk) 18:59, 16 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
And I'm sure you'll make use of the citation parameter |trans-title= as we've discussed previously. :-) Schwede66 19:08, 16 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
One last thing, if you do the sentence structure suggested, please make sure that the reference includes all the people and their dates they held the office. For example, the reference in this article, only is good for Major General Fadhel Hassan, it does not appear the others are included in the source.Onel5969 TT me 19:11, 16 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
