3.5 inch FFAR never had a 3.5 inch motor

The 3.5 inch FFAR never had a 3.5 inch motor. It had a 3.5 inch iron nose and a 3.25 inch rocket motor with 8.7 pounds of ballistite propellant. When the warhead was increased to a 5 inch diameter it was called a 5 inch FFAR or just 5 inch AR but still had a 3.25 inch diameter motor with 8.7 pounds of propellant. The 5 inch HVAR had a 5 inch diameter motor with 24 pounds of ballistite, much more than the 3.25 inch motor. Why are you using Andreas Parsch and von Braun's spaceflight book as sources for information on Caltech rockets when there are plenty of Caltech books and references with the correct information in them. Using unreliable sources seems to be a problem on all the articles about WWII rockets from Caltech and China Lake. Perhaps Mr. Bushranger should pay a little more attention to the correct sources.Magneticlifeform (talk) 20:43, 18 December 2012 (UTC)
