Missing categories
editI am missing a lot of nominations --Melly42 (talk) 09:18, 6 December 2012 (UTC)
Best Regional Mexican Album (Including Tejano) is the new category
editHello guys, I've seen that somebody replaced the category "Best Regional Mexican Album (Including Tejano)" for "Best Regional Mexican or Tejano Album". And that is completely wrong. The Best Regional Mexican Album (Including Tejano) is a brand new category created for the 55th Grammy Awards... It differs from the previous Regional Mexican or Tejano awarded last year because this one includes other forms of mexican regional music such as banda, grupera, norteño, etc... Please discuss. Multiple Nominations/Awards
editSome of the bands and performers listed under those receiving multiple nominations are listed under the wrong numerical. For example, Alabama Shakes is listed as having having received two nominations, while, in reality, they received three. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.137.149.77 (talk) 02:21, 22 January 2013 (UTC)
- The Oregon Symphony received two nominations (plus Blanton Alspaugh won for producing an Oregon Symphony recording, among others); perhaps the orchestra should be added to the list as well? --Another Believer (Talk) 16:53, 11 February 2013 (UTC)

chronology
editWhy not start this article with the oldest music and work your way through to the latest. So If there was an award for Gregorian chant recording, that would be first. Otherwise it is just a list of "popular appeal opinion" and hardly encyclopeadic. Just because some pop vocalist is a big deal this year is basically a very small and unimportant thing when you look at history. Start at the beginnng and go towards the current. 208.72.122.243 (talk) 09:53, 11 February 2013 (UTC)
abbreviations are not encyclopaedic.R&B is Rhythm and blues.
editR&B is the only abbreviation in this article. Why? Using that short form is not encyclopaedic! It should be rendered in complete form. "Rhythm and Blues". Otherwise, the article should use only abbreviations: P for pop and R&R for rock and roll. This ought ot be obvious. What is so special about Rhythm and Blues that it gets an abbreviation? This is not a pop music site. It is an encyclopaedia. I will not rewrite it, but the people that are editing this article should. Thank you.

- We name the categories according to the Grammy Website: "R&B Field". Also, it is obvious what R&B means in music ("Rhythm and blues, often abbreviated to R&B and RnB"), but what is P or R&R in music? Frankly, your comment has no sense, nobody calls pop as "P" or rock as "R". Tbhotch.™ Grammatically incorrect? Correct it! See terms and conditions. 20:12, 11 February 2013 (UTC)
Over-mention of male artists/winners
editI can't help but notice that twice in the lead section there are mentions of how the nominees/winners were mostly male. While I'm not saying it's not factual, isn't this leading for someone to infer that the Grammys are sexist in their choices? — Preceding unsigned comment added by QWERTYHateMachine (talk • contribs) 14:42, 12 February 2013 (UTC)
The lead section mentioning the maleness of the awards also seems to me to be inferring that the Grammy nominations are sexist. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mindgames11 (talk • contribs) 19:03, 13 February 2013 (UTC)
