keep it civil
editThe Waffen-SS was not part of the German Army per se.

This article needs:
edit- Translations of German phrases into English. The phrases/names can be in German in the text, but must be parenthetical in English, or vice versa. If there are links for the names that's good too, but there should still be the translation.
- Citations to document statements, which generally works out to one per paragraph.
- Expansion of one sentence paragraphs to further explain the context and conditions.
- Further reading section needs complete citations, including ISBN numbers or equivalent.
- Overall, the article needs greater context and content to be considered for B class rating in either Military History Project or Germany Project. Auntieruth55 (talk) 17:24, 1 March 2010 (UTC)
- I'll have a crack at the first of those and do a bit of a copyedit, but I'm far from an expert on the subject so I'll leave the context and citations to someone who is. Brickie (talk) 10:29, 26 March 2010 (UTC)
Norwegians
editI have my doubts about the existence in 1944 of a unit that was referred to (in German) as SS Ski Jäger Battalion "Norwegen". One thing is that the spelling of "Ski" in German is from the last part of the 20th century. Contemparary spelling was "Schi", or something like that. --Curitasbes (talk) 11:44, 12 October 2013 (UTC)
Austria
editAn Austrian Regiment was also attached - what's that ? There were no austrian Regiments, after the "Anschluss", weren't they ? --2001:A61:2B66:7E01:6955:3F7F:9941:559 (talk) 07:52, 26 January 2020 (UTC)
