Merging articles
editThere is a clear difference between The 7.30 Report and 7.30 so they should be kept separate. J Bar (talk) 04:36, 6 October 2016 (UTC)
- Is this really the case? The show is seen as an extension of 730 report. Surely they should be combined? 115.69.5.5 (talk) 01:36, 8 November 2024 (UTC)
Restructure
editThe (former) regional, Friday editions of 7.30 is essentially the renamed Statewide that was folded into the 7.30 brand. Likewise, the current (national) 7.30 is The 7.30 Report had its name changed. So, I think the Stateline (TV program) article should be moved to either Regional editions of 7.30 or State and territorial editions of 7.30 and get the portions merged from the 7.30 article, and then The 7.30 Report article be merged into 7.30. - I agree there's similarities between all these formats, but I think they should be kept seperate (at least for now). All have unique profiles. ABC has recently announced a Stan Grant-fronted program will replace the Friday episodes of 7.30 from next year anyway. The 7.30 Report has a seperate profile and format to 7.30 so I don't see why they need to be merged. -- Whats new?(talk) 01:41, 31 October 2016 (UTC)
