Redirect

edit

I dont think that the number 777 should redirect to the number 700. The two are completely unrelated.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.144.61.154 (talkcontribs) 17:24, 7 July 2007

Crowley

edit

Aleister Crowley is not a Satanist, and therefore the head of the article should not be Satanist. While arguably elements of his religion Thelema, and he himself, could fall into some categories of Satanism, he was never directly associated with it (it is in fact after his time of life). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.31.234.68 (talkcontribs) 11:18, 31 July 2009

Numerology

edit

Why is there no numerology in this article, and many other number articles?—Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.31.234.68 (talkcontribs) 11:20, 31 July 2009

Because there is a consortium of people who take it out that is why. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.160.222.24 (talk) 05:40, 1 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Suggested Editions for Inclusion Into the Main Article

The political examples seem fine if they can be sourced. And if someone's written about the 777/Jehovah/Crowley numerology then we can mention that in a couple of sentences. The rest seems like excessively detailed original research, though, and appears to be more about the number 666 than the number 777. --McGeddon (talk) 10:41, 1 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
I confess I Samuel Moser posted the religious nature of 777 above and I was not allowed to add a indefinite article "a" before "Genesis Snake" and you should know "The Snake" in genesis was just Eve's Wisdom. "YESHUWA WAS NEVER SNAKE" = 777 in multiples of 3 through the alphabet so the story I posted is contrived in error and blasphemy for which I am repentant. 2605:A000:C745:2000:E98F:4746:75B3:6526 (talk) 02:50, 2 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

Atoms

edit

The number of neutrons, protons, electrons in most common form of nitrogen is 7,7 and 7. And for Carbon it is 6,6 and 6. And so the incomplete world is the material one, and the complete (God's world) is ethereal. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Doker (talkcontribs) 10:43, October 16, 2015 (UTC)

Permissive mode?

edit

Is the 0777 protection on Unix-like systems ever actually called "permissive mode"? — Arthur Rubin (talk) 06:13, 29 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
