- Comments:
- "The 827th Tank Destroyer Battalion was a tank destroyer battalion of the United States Army active during the Second World War." → I don't know what convention is, but the first sentence seems to be a redundancy ("the X tank destroy battalion was a tank destroyer battalion"). Maybe just battalion, or unit, would be better in this case. You can infer that it is a tank destroyer battalion from the title.
- The lead could probably be expanded a sentence or two.
- I did some relatively heavy copyediting of the article. Change back anything you think improper.
- There was a mix of British and American English (although, mostly the former), so I took the liberty to change it all to the latter. Feel free to convert back (although, make sure it's consistent).
- As a note, dashes to mark breaks in the sentence should be em dashes.
- Given my copyediting, I believe the article meets criteria 1.
- Criteria 2 is a bit broad, and I believe it meets it as well, although it would probably be preferable to use more than just one major reference. Alas, I don't believe that this could impede its promotion to GA, however.
- It meets all other criteria, and the image checks out.
