Contested deletion
editThis page should not be speedily deleted because... The editor who submitted the request for deletion, while an expert in the target subject of the Atong language (Tibeto-Burman), misunderstands the purpose of this redirect. The purpose in this case is not to validate an incorrect spelling or alternate name, but to direct readers to the correct information should they use the (seemingly) incorrect name. Since the editor feels strongly that there is only one correct spelling, s/he should welcome the redirection of readers to what they contend is the correct spelling.
