Minor Error
editThe reference to the section without junctions between Havant and Chichester should be amended to read as bewteen Emsworth and Chichester -- no? dcluley (talk) 10:49, 1 February 2013 (UTC)
- Thankyou for pointing this out. However the last junction before Chichester is not quite in Emsworth, the roundabout has Church Lane, to the south, leading to .Warblington church and then there is Warblington school and Warblington station to the north, so I would say that it is actually in Warblington! I have amended accordingly.Wilfridselsey (talk) 13:44, 1 February 2013 (UTC)
Fair enough. It is signposted as Emsworth which I guess is more important or better known; but, strictly you are right.dcluley (talk) 16:16, 2 February 2013 (UTC)
- OK I've called it the Warblington/ Emsworth exit, as that is not quite so location specific. I think you are right Emsworth is better known. rgds Wilfridselsey (talk) 17:48, 2 February 2013 (UTC)

Article Style
editThis article is a bit too wordy for me, which is why I've added the {{essay-entry}} template. See A1 and A66 for good examples of how a roads article should be laid out, and not simply a narrative of all its waypoints, which is not useful for an encyclopedia. Primary Destinations
editI have removed Newhaven again as it is *not* on the route of the A27, there needs to be some consistency in this. On every other road, PD's are only listed if they are on the route in question (or bypassed, but still essentially on the route). Newhaven is a PD for the A26 and not the A27. Using the "nearby" logic you'd have to include Cheltenham and Honiton on the A38, Weymouth on the A35 etc, all of which are not reasonable. jenuk1985 (talk) 14:36, 29 November 2008 (UTC)

Major junctions
editHello. I would like to let you know that I have reduced the amount of major junctions on this article from 33 to 16. However, personally sixteen is a lot for a road with a length of about 103 miles, so if any of you editors out there looking at this right now would like to help, then please do. Some suggestions I would do would be to remove the A29, A32, A259, A280 and A283, even though these roads are quite important (either two-digit or primary roads), but if you wanted to get rid of other roads then that is also fine. If you can, then please try to get below ten. If not, then I will do it in the new year. Thank you. Roads4117 (talk) 11:31, 19 December 2022 (UTC)
