Tidied

The article already had a good main body, but I tidied up the English and added in "Size and Sales" and "History" sections.

Brazil

I removed a reference saying that Brazil is where beer was invented. It was not cited and is a well known fact that the earliest beverages that are classified as "beer" originated in Ancient Egypt. If anyone has a reference stating otherwise, feel free to revert my edit.

Stella

I unmerged Stella Artois by reverting that page and removing the section. I can't fathom a reason why one beer should be singled out for inclusion on this page. I followed a link to Stella Artois and was baffled to be redirected to a company page. MrWeeble Talk Brit tv 16:25, 24 April 2006 (UTC)

Budweiser

Added "Canada, " to the Budweiser and Bud Light listings. See http://www.inbev.com/brands/2__3__92__budweiser.cfm. These beers are brewed by Labatt in Canada hence the InBev connection.

Stella-specific trivia irrelevant?

I removed some trivia about the advertising slogans for Stella Artois, which was listed under "country-specific trivia". Don't see the relevance of this on the global InBev page. Renamed "country-specific trivia" to "trivia" to stay more in line with other wikipedia articles.

Cunnilingus

An interesting (and quite humourous) fact is that InBev is Antwerpan slang for Cunnilingus. I'm not sure if this warrants inclusion into the article, but I find it quite funny, especially since Stella is originally a Belgian lager.

The Acquisition

I think this article must be clearer about the Merge that formed Inbev. People are still under the impression that InBev is a "Belgian company", mostly because its HQ is still in Belgium. Particularly when Wikinews made a post that saying that Belgian InBev was acquiring Budwiser...

The fact is that in the acquisition that formed InBev, the predominant company was, in fact, the Brazilian side it is not clear which company was the predominant one. Could someone with a good knowledge of the deal develop on this one?

Merge today is an expression often used to illustrate a amicable (non-hostile) acquisition. In fact, the chartered institute of accountancy doesn't recognise mergers anymore and through the processes of due diligence it is vital that the bidding company must be identified (see M&A. --Pinnecco (talk) 20:08, 19 July 2008 (UTC)

Why is the North American HQ listed separately? I can understand it from a historical perspective, but if we list the NA HQ we would have to list the HQ for every continent, for example the Latin American market is very important for ABI. It is my understanding that Anheuser-Busch InBev is just the new name of InBev. This is incorrect. InBev bought AB, but is now a subsidiary of AB-InBev, a newly created holding company encapsulating both InBev and AB. Furthermore, this holding company has a different name, has received a different stock market listing, a different name, logo, etc. So, the two articles should be kept separated.
