editIf this article is about the year 711, why should there be a ==See also== 7-Eleven at the bottom, which is totally unrelated?? 66.245.95.169 17:46, 24 May 2004 (UTC)
- Well, some people might confuse them, and come here when looking for the article on 7-Eleven. Everyking 18:55, 24 May 2004 (UTC)

The result of the move request was: Moved. Sceptre (talk) 01:00, 20 May 2020 (UTC)
– Between the year, the number, the telephone number (see N11 code or 7-1-1), the international convenience store chain (7-Eleven), and a number of other things that have a title of "711" — there's no clear primary topic whatsoever (and if there was, it wouldn't be the year). (The pageviews of the surrounding years make that pretty clear.) The safest bet is to move the disambiguation page to the basename. Given that 311 had strong consensus to move (see Talk:AD 311#Requested move 8 May 2020), and 411, 911, and 111 were moved some time ago, it makes sense to follow suit. "AD xxx" is the format established upon for years that aren't the primary topic of their number. Paintspot Infez (talk) 23:40, 12 May 2020 (UTC)
...Also, pinging the people who've participated in similar 3-digit disambiguation discussions (like Talk:AD 311#Requested move 8 May 2020), as they might have stuff to say / opinions one way or the other. @Amakuru, Amkgp, Arthur Rubin, Bkonrad, Carn, Certes, Ceyockey, Colin M, CookieMonster755, Crouch, Swale, Dicklyon, GeoffreyT2000, Gonnym, Hansen Sebastian, JFG, JHunterJ, King of Hearts, KingSkyLord, Narky Blert, Netoholic, No Great Shaker, Power~enwiki, Randy Kryn, Red Slash, Rreagan007, Shhhnotsoloud, Spacemo80, and Steel1943:. - Support per nom. A lot of other topics here have a very strong connection to this title, more so than the year. --Gonnym (talk) 23:44, 12 May 2020 (UTC)
- Support. The year is clearly not a primary topic for the term "711" and should not be at the base name. I don't see a convincing case for any other topic being primary either, so readers visiting the base name are best served by a disambiguation page. Certes (talk) 23:45, 12 May 2020 (UTC)

- Support. No WP:PTOPIC. Narky Blert (talk) 03:41, 13 May 2020 (UTC)
- Support the year gets 558 views compared to 40,870 for 7-Eleven, we don't know how often people use "711" to get there but even if only a small percentage did the year wouldn't be primary by usage. 712 only gets 269 views[[1]] so people could be landing here incorrectly. Google and Images also show nearly all results for the store, Books seems mixed, although there are some results for the year, many also appear to be for the number. The year is still likely if anything primary by PT#2 so the DAB at the base name makes most sense. Crouch, Swale (talk) 07:41, 13 May 2020 (UTC)
- Support – Spellings of various meanings should not matter; all should appear on a dab page, see for example 911. — JFG talk 09:34, 13 May 2020 (UTC)
- Yes; we should probably merge 7-Eleven (disambiguation) into the 711 dab. Certes (talk) 11:48, 16 May 2020 (UTC)
- Support, the store gets nearly 2,000 views a day, so it's a thing. This page gets 26, and probably 25 of those are for the store (pertinent data: 7-11 sells Snow-cones). Randy Kryn (talk) 18:50, 14 May 2020 (UTC)
