Football and Basketball
editThe article seems to be getting a bit long. How about creating seperate articles for the football and basketball teams? -NYC2TLV 19:48, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:AEL.gif
editImage:AEL.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
Big pictures are terrible layout
editWhy must publish many big pictures on this site? And the positions are terrible. Use THUMBNAILS!!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Gluggy (talk • contribs) 17:09, 27 September 2007 (UTC)
- I second that, so I added the {{cleanup-reorganize}} template. In particular:
- Table layout and design needs to be taken care of
- Images should perhaps be downsized for better flow
- Greek-alphabet-only names are not acceptable
- GregorB (talk) 13:40, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
- I reintroduced the {{cleanup-reorganize}}, as the above points were not addressed. By the way: "Table layout and design needs to be taken care of" was a nice way of saying "blue-and-yellow table backgrounds need to go". GregorB (talk) 19:03, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
Reorganization
editI cleaned-up the football team section. I is now a lot closer to other football articles. Also added stadium and supporters section.
The only way for this article IMHO to improve is to split the football team (as it was already done the basketball team) into another article (maybe AEL Limassol F.C.) and keep this article for the club in general with only summaries for each sport. What do other wikipedians think? Anarxia (talk) 12:28, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
- Good job. Splitting the article would help somewhat, although further formatting work would still be needed. GregorB (talk) 17:04, 23 June 2008 (UTC)

Other sports
editOutside of the football I am a bit concerned that there is no sources, citations, provided for all the other sports that the club do. That may damage the article and it could all be removed if remained unsourced. Govvy (talk) 12:44, 1 February 2021 (UTC)
