Articles about companies and products are fine if they are written in an objective and unbiased style

- Actually, articles about companies still have to follow notability guidelines to be included, and generally should be made by someone outside of the company (and per your username, i'm assuming you're either an employee or owner). Articles must meet certain requirements to avoid speedy deletion, and then more stringent requirements to avoid deletion. Right now, i'd say this falls under CSD A7 for deletion as the company appears to be non notable, not promotional, and have changed the speedy deletion tag accordingly. The best way to address these concerns is to include third party external sources in the article to establish notability. If the article is deleted, for any reason, i'd recommend that you let someone outside the company create the article per conflict of intrest guidelines. To be clear as well, the article does not appear to be written in an unbiased and objective manner. Alot of the facts in the article will require citations in order to survive the deletion discussion that will most probably happen if the speedy deletion is denied. Best of luck, and thank you for your contributions. MattWT (talk) 09:37, 3 September 2008 (UTC)
speedy removed by admin
editAs the reviewing administrator, I decided it did not fit the speedy deletion criterion. It does not have to prove importance to pass speedy, it just has to give some indication of it, which it does, by talking about its role in major wellknown projects. However, Matt is certainly correct that in order to be actually kept here, it needs to actually demonstrate this, via 3rd party independent reliable published sources, print or online (but not blogs or press releases). I'd advise you to add this very quickly, before it gets nominated for regular deletion.
Editing with a conflict of interest is certainly discouraged, but not impossible. For advice, see our Business FAQ and also WP:COI and our guide to writing Wikipedia articles.
Incidentally, you must continue editing under a different user name. Only individuals, not companies, can edit Wikipedia. DGG (talk) 13:42, 3 September 2008 (UTC)
