A.I.B.A.
editThe article A.I.B.A. was deleted in November 2005; if it is recreated, it should, in my opinion, be created as a redirect to this page (AIBA). User:Ceyockey (talk to me) 16:24, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
Australian Institute for Business Analysis
editThere are articles in Wikipedia that refer to AIBA in relation to the Australian Institute for Business Analysis. This is a factual link and a disambiguation, I don't see how it is a promotional link (especially as I have nothing to do with them).
Please discuss reasons for removal here before reverting. Thanks. Greyskinnedboy Talk 21:53, 5 November 2009 (UTC)

AIBA → AIBA (disambiguation) – AIBA is the official governing body for the sport of amateur boxing, affiliated with the OIC (International Olympic Committee) and GAISF (Global Association of International Sports Federations) and all affiliated national bodies that participate in the sport. Which is why I recommend "AIBA" should redirect to International Boxing Association (amateur) with a disambig. hatnote mentioning "AIBA (disambiguation)" for those interested in the two other articles which are far more niche. -DA1 (talk) 20:08, 1 May 2018 (UTC)
- But is the boxing body dominantly important above the other AIBAs? Anthony Appleyard (talk) 04:27, 2 May 2018 (UTC)
- The other two are purely local institutions: "Austin Independent Business Alliance" and "Australian International Beer Awards." AIBA participants win Olympic medals, and represent their countries in the Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, etc, and all international competitions involving amateur boxing. This shouldn't even be under question. It meets the requirements of WP:PRIMARYTOPIC including long-term significance. As well as usage, per visit stats [1] -DA1 (talk) 13:55, 2 May 2018 (UTC)
- Support. I agree that International Boxing Association (amateur) is the primary topic and AIBA should redirect there. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 10:56, 5 May 2018 (UTC)
