Don't merge
editThis is about a fascinating bit of communications history, which has almost nothing to do with AT&T as a corporate entity. Should we merge everything which has to do with telecommuniations into AT&T? I think not. -- RoySmith (talk) 19:34, 11 September 2006 (UTC)
Rename?
editI'm thinking of renaming this article to High Seas Service or AT&T High Seas Service, and making WOO (call sign), WOM (call sign), and KMI (call sign) all be redirects to that. The article has evolved to the point where it's no longer specifically about WOO. This would also fix some of the strange dab entries, such as the Wom entry that points here, contrary to MOS:DAB. -- RoySmith (talk) 15:44, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
I have a photo of a Technical Operator at the KMI console in Oakland, California, circa 1966. How do I go about adding that to this article? Also, is this the correct place to suggest this? Sherrel (talk) 23:21, 19 August 2012 (UTC)
- Hi Sherrel. The first step is to upload the image. Just click this link and follow the instructions from there. Once the image is uploaded to the Wikimedia servers, it's easy to add to the article. -- RoySmith (talk) 23:40, 19 August 2012 (UTC)
Wow! Thanks for the very quick response! I've uploaded the photo and added it to the article. Hope it's OK. Sherrel (talk) 00:28, 20 August 2012 (UTC)
