ATi Graphics Solution Rev 3
editIt states here that this card is a Hercules Card. In fact this card is capable of at least supporting Hercules Graphics, CGA, MDA and Plantronics Graphics. I see this card is listed under the headline "MDA/CGA", but since just below, for the "ATi Color Emulation Card" it explicitly says "Did at least support CGA graphics" I think this should either be stated for all cards in this section or none. Also the card supports emulating CGA on a monochrome TTL screen, real color output on EGA screens, and composite output (monochrome or color) through an adapter. from 9-PIN to Chinch. I know this because I own one of these cards, but I guess this isn't enough for an anonymous edit; maybe someone will stumble upon some credible sources somewhere to back such an edit. --2A02:8071:B697:B3F0:0:0:0:2 (talk) 18:12, 16 January 2017 (UTC)
ATI CW16800-A doesn't support color composite output. Maybe later revisions does but the -A has very bad support for composite output - only grayscale and only in 40-column text or 320x200. Composite output is disabled if you switch to the 80x25 text mode or the 640x200 graphics mode. I agree, however, with the CGA emulation on standard Hercules/MDA screens - see here: https://swarmik.tumblr.com/post/178909439269/full-cga-graphics-on-mda-monitors-a-few-weeks-ago Swarmik (talk) 18:12, 3 November 2018 (UTC)
