Relevance
editHi, I removed the internet comments in the main article because they did not seem to be notable. Leah 08:16, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
"Self-proclaimed"
editI altered the term "self-proclaimed documentary" to "documentary," as the program is not classified as anything other than documentary on any network in any country. While some may find the content objectionable, "self-proclaimed" goes one step further and challenges the validity of the program's status as a documentary. In this light, I consider the phrase guilty of "weasel words" and removed it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.147.232.154 (talk) 16:20, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
Brandi Belle?
editMight just be me, but the actress for the nude scenes looks very similar to Brandi Belle, an internet porn star.. Anyone know if it's her or not? - NemFX (talk) 05:02, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
Revert of story summary?
editWhy was this revert done? It would be good to have more summaries of stories, if perhaps not in the lead section. The next one I'd like to include is where girls are told that all men secretly want larger penises -- three men who say they want larger penises are lined up naked, have their erect penises measured with a man with a ruler (5.5, 5.5, and 6.5 inches) in a game-show montage of music and graphics, go off with a penis pump and a stretching device for two months, and two of the three are said to gain a full inch of erect length. That reminds me, any talk of contracts between this show and sex toy manufacturers? I haven't seen the breast-enlargement episode, or the episode on fellatio techniques, or vaginal reconstruction and subsequent forgiveness and happy home life after a husband mutilates his wife. If they exist, perhaps someone else could summarize those stories. Blackworm (talk) 15:52, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
- No reliable sources and borders on trivial. Darrenhusted (talk) 15:56, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
- Oh, is this article already at the standard where we delete anything that is not sourced reliably? I see absolutely no reliable sources in this article other than for the statements on the Ofcom bulletin. The IMDb link doesn't verify any statement. I will join you and delete all unsourced statements from the article. Blackworm (talk) 16:32, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
- The imdb link verifies:
- The title
- Dr Catherine Hood is the presenter
- The episodes were broadcast in 2006
- That the episodes were 45m long
- That is was made in the UK
- The cast and crew
- The production company and channel
- The subjects on the 8 episodes
- That there were 8 episodes
- The cast for each episode
- However it does not confirm any individual story. And the ofcom pdf (page 13) confirms the ofcom section. Darrenhusted (talk) 11:08, 10 July 2008 (UTC)
WikiProject banners
editI have removed the banner for {{WPMED}} again and ask that you not replace it on this article about a television show. WikiProject Medicine does not, as a rule, consider articles about television shows to be within its scope, even when the shows contain some information about medical conditions or human anatomy. I have also added the banner for the WikiProject that is dedicated to British TV shows, because presumably they would be interested in this article. WhatamIdoing (talk) 20:21, 6 July 2008 (UTC)
Episode Listing
editI've constructed a chart showing the contents of each episode as well as the original ir date for each. Sdsures (talk) 00:02, 2 June 2014 (UTC)
