Why This Volume Set is Important
editIf anyone should come here and wonder--does this set of books need a page? I would argue that the fact that it isn't still in our libraries is a travesty. I own two of the volumes and plan to obtain the others. There is a wealth of information about American History--I consider this work to be a connector for many other Wikipedia pages.

editHoo boy. I haven't edited in a few years--so I may use this page to revive my memory a bit and relearn citing sources. This book was important to the history of magazines in America. Mott published five volumes--the last one post-humously. Auldhouse (talk) 18:04, 1 February 2024 (UTC)
