Some remarks

edit

Hi Ana,

This is really a splendid begin! And you prepared a text in French too, already! Wow..... That's really great. Forgive me, I'll not comment on the French one (but I'll try to read it, though).

Just a few remarks now.

First of all: did you think about the title of the page you want to create? And related to this: there is not (yet) a page on Francois Froger on the English wikipedia. You link to the French one in the lead-section. But that's no "common practice". Did you perhaps think about creating a (short) article on Froger on the en-wikipedia. Let it only be a "stub". Then things will fit better. And perhaps what you've been writing now could be part of this article? I don't like that too much, because I think that your text in itself is quite worth an article, but perhaps other people will have different opinions on this. We could discuss that.

The section on "places explored" is not the most interesting part of the text - too say it in modest words. Could you think about ways to enhance this part?

And lastly, for now, did you already think about categorization? See: w:en:Help:Categories.

  • I tried to fix the issue of the publication date in the first sentence. French 1698, English 1699. Is that correct? Check!
  • I started making some links to the article, so that it's no longer an "orphan". More links would be good!
  • Now it's time to start at François Froger!

Keep up the good work. Dick Bos (talk) 08:57, 7 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
