Akin to Bill Bryson's A Short History of Nearly Everything

edit

The phrase used here '"It was as if [the textbook writer] wanted to keep the good stuff secret by making all of it soberly unfathomable." - Berry, on the state of history books used within his school[2]"' is exactly the same used in the A Short History of Nearly Everything, save that it is credited to Berry, not Bryson. 198.161.230.10 19:17, 20 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hoax?

I cannot find any references that refer to these two so-called authors or this book. Geoffrey Blainey's book of the same name should be here. —Moondyne 15:01, 26 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

  1. It does not limit the copyright owner's rights to sell the book in any way;
  2. Its inclusion adds significantly to the article about the book
  3. The book is widely distributed, therefore, the cover is intended for wide distribution also.
  4. The image is being used in an informative way and should not detract from the book.
  5. The image is of reasonably low resolution (216px wide)
