Clean up
editI've put a cleanup tag because (no doubt because of the previous disputes about NPOV and referencing which you can find in the archives) the article is now over-referenced, particularly in the introductory section. It's going to be quite a long job going through the refs and removing the dead wood. I'm happy to try to clean it up a bit and wouldn't mind some help. Mujinga (talk) 02:01, 21 April 2019 (UTC)
- Tag removed! Some clusters of references still need work Mujinga (talk) 16:55, 21 December 2019 (UTC)
Navbox
editStill working on the article periodically, also there's a draft navbox to put on articles related to Abahlali baseMjondolo articles here. Comments from interested editors would be welcomed! Mujinga (talk) 16:08, 10 May 2019 (UTC)
Improving the article
editI've done a bit of a cleanup and just removed the "puffery" and "COI" tags. It's a bit hard to see the puff without specific examples and I'm not sure about the COI, but if there is one it should be discussed here. Mujinga (talk) 16:17, 14 February 2021 (UTC)
Tidy Up
editThere are some things that need to be done to improve the article.
1. Quite a but of material was in the wrong sections. I have moved some of it into appropriate sections.
2. It is too long and goes into too much details on issues such as the Covid pandemic that when written would have been appropriate for a news report but are not really appropriate for an encyclopaedia entry. There are other sections, such as the one on elections, that could probably be reduced in size and included in one of the other sections.
3. There is room to merge sections such as 'Solidarity' and 'Church Support'. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.197.252.132 (talk) 02:05, 5 June 2023 (UTC)
- I agree, but I've given up! The lead is in a rather bad state now. TNT is always an option ... Mujinga (talk) 10:16, 5 June 2023 (UTC)
