Abuse of admin powers
editIf this is not abuse of admin powers, then nothing is. The arbitration case against Silmvirgin says everything. Cognition 03:25, 21 October 2005 (UTC)
Page protection
editI've protected this page because a Larouche editor, Cognition (talk · contribs), is inserting a section about LaRouche without producing a source showing that the debate with LaRouche was a significant event in Lerner's life. There's an arbcom ruling that LaRouche may not be inserted into non-LaRouche articles unless he is highly relevant to them. SlimVirgin (talk) 03:31, 21 October 2005 (UTC)
- Riiiiight. I will put this matter on hold for now. The main issue for me at the moment is your incorrect page protection on physical economics, which from the time it was created dealt with Russian economists who claim extensive influence by LaRouche. Cognition 03:34, 21 October 2005 (UTC)
Debate with Hayek on socialism vs free markets
editDoes anyone have a link to the debates he engaged Hayek in on socialism ? I believe he was for a planned economy while Hayek was against it.Kendirangu (talk) 13:53, 22 May 2011 (UTC)
Befriended Milton Friedman and Barry Goldwater?
editIs there a source for this? If not I would take it out. The Colander article mentions neither Friedman nor Goldwater. Nor is Lerner mentioned in the articles on Friedman an Goldwater. 130.149.205.6 (talk) 08:29, 3 June 2015 (UTC) Christian
Yes. See Kenneth J. Arrow (2016) - On Ethics and Economics, Chapter 1, footnote 14. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1700:64B0:1690:BDFC:6DBA:92C6:8718 (talk) 15:10, 31 October 2020 (UTC)
