- This is a contested technical request (permalink). ─ The Aafī (talk) 19:20, 19 November 2020 (UTC)
- Note: Abbas Ibrahim titles a dab page with significant content and so is ineligible to be a new title in a requested move unless it is also proposed to be renamed. This request has been altered to reflect that fact. P.I. Ellsworth ed. put'r there 05:29, 20 November 2020 (UTC)
- so 18:19, 19 November 2020 Thepharoah17 moved page Abbas Ibrahim to Abbas Ibrahim (politician) In ictu oculi (talk) 22:26, 19 November 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose editor has created a new bio, fine, but there were already 3 Abbas Ibrahim, so the default location should clearly be a dab page. In ictu oculi (talk) 22:31, 19 November 2020 (UTC)

- Oppose. No evidence of primary topic. DrKay (talk) 21:27, 20 November 2020 (UTC)
Ok can we just close this as not moved?Thepharoah17 (talk) 23:38, 20 November 2020 (UTC)
- There's a possibility of a primary topic, see views[[1]] but this depends on how often Abass Ibrahim is known as "Abbas Ibrahim" and the possibility of recentism, otherwise I would have just closed this as withdrawn. Crouch, Swale (talk) 09:57, 21 November 2020 (UTC)

– The Lebanese officer clearly has the most page views [[2]] and the other Abbas Ibrahims are all stub classes while the officer is a C class. Thepharoah17 (talk) 14:15, 25 April 2021 (UTC)
- Oppose per oppose votes at the relatively recent Talk:Abbas Ibrahim (Lebanese officer)#Requested move 19 November 2020 above. Would support, however, Abbas Ibrahim (Lebanese officer) → Abbas Ibrahim (Lebanese general), Abbas Ibrahim (Lebanese major general), Abbas Ibrahim (major general) or simply Abbas Ibrahim (general). Wikipedia does have a number of categories — Category:Generals, Category:Generals by nationality or Category:Major generals, which enable us to be more specific than "(Lebanese officer)" when disambiguating a country's military commander or one of a country's top military commanders. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 00:04, 26 April 2021 (UTC)
- Oppose. To be primary, a topic must have more page views than any other similarly-named topic and all the other topics combined. That is not the case here. DrKay (talk) 06:30, 26 April 2021 (UTC)
