incorrect picture

edit

The picture is incorrect. It's supposed to be a 30–60–90 triangle, but the angle labeled 90° is visibly an acute angle. Michael Hardy (talk) 02:44, 14 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

I'll second that, is there a reference that might have a correct picture or confirm that the prism should not be a right angle one. Idyllic press (talk) 07:33, 3 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Why?

So a standard prism, like this, makes one wavelength of light appear at a particular angle. What is the importance of this devise? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pehrlch (talkcontribs) 04:21, 30 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Is the deviation angle or prism angles dependent on the refractive index of the material for the selected frequency ?
