This[6], does not state Maraghi was Azerbaijani. A search using Meragi through the snippet view gives two results(page 3 & 5), neither stating ethnicity.

This[8] does state Iran-Azerbaijan. Though judging from the following reference, are you sure this source is talking about the same person?

This[9], appears to mention someone that was born in 1327 and died in 1388!!?? Maraghi, by the way, died in 1435!
