2015–2016
editThe youth career section of his infobox lists both "Promesas Elche CF" and "CD Cultural Carrús" as clubs he played for between 2015 and 2016. Is this an error? Nehme1499 17:11, 12 December 2021 (UTC)
Current club: "Barcelona" or "Barcelona B"
editHi folks. Pinging @Oblow14:, @Erminameraz:, @Ortizesp: as editors who have recently edited this page. Ezzalzouli has been training and playing with Barcelona's first team for a while now. Any reason why we shouldn't say his current club is "Barcelona" instead of "Barcelona B"? Kind regards, Robby.is.on (talk) 09:35, 10 January 2022 (UTC)
- @Robby.is.on: I would leave his current club as Barcelona B. There have been several players before who trained and played with the first team and still had Barca B as their current club, (ie Puig, Araujo, Mingueza). Unless he's officially promoted, I'd leave it as is, but that's just my style of editing. I'd like to hear more opinions on this type of subject. Oblow14 02:27, 13 January 2022 (UTC)
Nationality in the lede
editHi folks. Pinging @Oblow14:, @Erminameraz:, @Ortizesp: as editors who have recently edited this page. As Ortizesp has rightly pointed out, there have been conflicting reports on Ezzalzouli's nationality and international allegiance. I recently WP:BOLDly a) removed nationality from the first sentence of the lede and b) added this sentence: "Born in Morocco and raised in Spain, he represented the Morocco U20 national team at international level." These kinds of phrasing are frequently used (see Achraf Hakimi and Riyad Mahrez) and this strikes me as a good balance. What do others think? Robby.is.on (talk) 09:41, 10 January 2022 (UTC)
- That intro works for me, I don't think we can reliably pick one of the other until he is capped.--Ortizesp (talk) 14:12, 10 January 2022 (UTC)
- The current works well. Like Ortizesp said, we can't really pick Spain or Morocco until he's cap-tied. Oblow14 02:27, 13 January 2022 (UTC)
