November 2018 AfD consensus

The AfD was closed as no consensus, but there seemed to be a rough consensus from both Keep and Delete voters that the article should be moved to Abdul Haqq Baker and rewritten to cover that subject, with only one editor clearly dissenting on this opinion. This would be a pretty significant change, and depending on editors' willingness to do this work immediately should possibly be accompanied by temporarily moving to draft- or userspace, so it should be discussed such that an actual consensus is established. • I would prefer to see this out of mainspace (either deleted, draftified, or userfied), but No Consensus was a reasonable close for the AfD. I suggest that the best way forward would be for you to work on Draft:Abdul Haqq Baker and when it's done, move it to mainspace and WP:BOLDLY redirect the current article to it. I don't know that there's any content in the current article that's worth reusing, but if you do, be sure to give appropriate credit per WP:Copying within Wikipedia, and in particular, WP:PATT. -- RoySmith (talk) 22:26, 27 November 2018 (UTC)

Rename article?

This article says little about the subject. It is largely all about the "Convert's Cognitive Development Framework". In its current state it is a WP:COATRACK for the framework. Perhaps it should be moved to Convert's Cognitive Development Framework?ThatMontrealIP (talk) 03:55, 20 November 2019 (UTC)

Thank you for posting this. I am honestly very confused and albeit a little frustrated with Wikipedia. If you look at the page history of Abdul_Haqq_Baker I originally created the page named "Convert's Cognitive Development Framework". However, more people didn't think the content fit the title. So more senior people suggested it be named to Abdul Haqq Baker, I personally didn't care. I am a researcher and found the convert content compelling. Then I continue to edit the page and then get accused of having a relationship with the person who someone else suggested the page be named after. I honestly don't know what to post now. I am very new to Wikapedia and it seems I have to navigate many peoples personalities...

If you have any suggestions or advice that will make this process easier... I am very open to listening.

Proposed Draft - Baker

I am a fellow board member along with Dr. Baker at the TAM Group, an academic non-profit focused on extremist ideologies in the United States. I would like to share a proposed rewrite of the current article, so that independent, impartial editors have an opportunity to review the draft and provide any feedback.

The current page is titled as being about Dr. Baker but contains almost no information about his biography. Most of the citations are either poor sources or do not actually say the fact they are cited for. The proposed replacement would start a proper Wikipedia biography.
