It is mentioned in the article that Ghasemlou never betrayed his country. This is not true, he worked with Saddam Hussien and Baath party during the Iran-Iraq war.

Mr Professor Ph.Dr Ghassemlou considered himself and his people (The Kurdish people) as iranian as the persians.he never betrayed iran.in the beginning of the revolution in iran, the new regime would not accept the rights of kurdish people as ethnic minority and the sunnis as the religious minority.so in fact he had no reason to be loyal to this regime. naturally, you will not be loyal to a regime who are against you and who are not loyal to you. the regime killed many thousands of kurds only because they demanded their rights, their political rights.

Of course

So tell me what you know about Dr.Ghassemlou? it seems you know a lot..

Not sure who that's directed to, but myself, I do not know a lot, still, the manual of style is rather clear about the style issues I raised (using bold text outside the name), as well as regarding the title — who called him that? Finally, the quote needs to be attributed as to who is being quoted, that is unclear. Please do not revert before attending to these issues. Thanks in advance. El_C 01:01, 10 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Rumors

Is there any source to back the claim that Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was involved in Qasimlo’s death? If not, the relevant section should be removed. BenStiglitz (talk) 00:37, 29 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Balance of this article

edit

This article concentrates only on a single event; the subject's assassination. Assuming this person is also notable for his earlier political career, the article places undue weight on his assassination. The sections on his earlier career should be expanded. On the other hand, if this person is notable only for the manner of his death, this article fails WP:ONEEVENT and should be merged to a suitable article such as Chain murders of Iran. --MegaSloth (talk) 02:24, 2 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
