MHP is not a ultra-nationalist and anti-kurt party. MHP said their founder is Ziya Gökalp(a Kurd born in Diyarbakır). And MHP not racist their nationalizm is like French nationalism. And the Gladio connection never proved. Turkish Goverment reject the offer(build a Gladio in Turkey) of America. Ruzgar

That last edit is a bit heavy-handed if you ask me... but I'll see if I can contribute some material. maarten 01:43, 9 February 2006 (UTC)

This article full of stupid theoris. People must prove what they claim. Ruzgar 20:08, 30 April 2006 (UTC)

I said a lot of times in the other articles. MHP or the Grey Wolves not a faschist organisation. It is origin is Türk Ocakları and they founded by Turkish intellectuals like Ziya Gökalp. And his origin is kurdish. MHP leaders says a lot of time they are in the opposite for faschism. They said faschism is a other form of imperialism and capitalism. They said racism is forbbiden in Islam. And MHP never accept a thing which forbidden in Islam.

Gladio connection never be proved. Some communists authors(Soner Yalçın) claim that. But they cannot prove that, they say only all the anti-communist organizations are gladio. The general Kenan Evren who makes the military coup in 1980 said that Turkey rejects to build a Gladio. Bülent Ecevit is played an activ role in 1970's communist-nationalist crise and his words cannot be objective. Please show me exact sentences of these sources which menitoned in the article. Sided

I played with the text to see who are interested in it. Not a surprise, Khoikhoi ;) Still this article is hugely lacking in evidence. In my opinion Çatlı is a hero who destroyed a bloody terrorist organization nearly personally but of course I can't write such things here since it must be an objective article but this article just says he was a gunman, a mafia member, a man accepts money as his religion, an extreme everything and worse than all, a servant of America! Look thats a lot and nobody has any evidence on those issues. You can only say that he "may" have such connections. The article is pro- socialist. I don't say you have to do it in a pro- nationalist way but at least be democratic. Deliogul 23:41, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

Selam. I reverted because your additions contained many weasel words. For example, "on the other hand, others claim that he was a criminal and had strong partnership with the mafia". Who specifically claims this? What you need to do is cite reliable sources. Just report what third-party sources claim about the man, your opinion and mine are irrelevant here. Khoikhoi 00:17, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
I understand your point but I still think that we, at least, have to put disputed mark in many places in the article. Also I can find couple of people who say Çatlı was a criminal. For example our Karaoğlan Bülent Ecevit said it. Last month they mentioned that Çatlı was a criminal in Kanal D TV series Kod Adı. Many journalists attacked Çatlı during the zenith of the Kurtlar Vadisi wave, of course because of the similarities between Çatlı and the lead character in the series. Socialist magazines like Birikim always attack on Çatlı and what he is representing. On the other hand, Çatlı's defenders can be found in Turkish nationalist magazines such as Bozkurt. Hmmm, interesting. What I'm looking for however are sources. Keep in mind that the threshold for inclusion in Wikipedia is verifiability, not truth. Muhabbetle, Khoikhoi 06:12, 13 December 2006 (UTC)
Ok. I will make some search about Çatlı and share them with you in this page. Saygılarımla, Deliogul 12:58, 13 December 2006 (UTC)

Does anybody have any evidence about this heroin trade?????? Yalancının anasını, devrimci bacısını sikeyim. Racist Regards! Irkçı selamlar!

Category terrorism

I removed category terrorism per discussion at Talk:ASALA, where Khoikhoi insisted that using terrorist is not appropriate. If ASALA is not in category terrorism, while its members were charged, convicted and sentenced for terrorist attacks upon civilians in Europe, no reason for Catli to be there either. POV tag

I've added a POV tag. The Monde Diplomatique article is written by a member of a Kurdish organization, and thus a little bit one-sided. IF Çatlı received money from Agca, other media will have reported on this as well, then quote them. Intangible2.0 22:59, 21 May 2007 (UTC)

You are entitled to think that the Monde diplomatique article is one-sided. You should thus precise the author of the article instead of deleting the info. Tazmaniacs 19:37, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
I have not deleted anything concerning the Pope assassination. Actually it would be best to handle this issue in a separate article on the assassination. Intangible2.0 20:35, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
See Francesco Pazienza for a note that it wasn't Çatlı who supposedly met Delle Chiaie. Intangible2.0 00:32, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
Cleanup done, tag removed -- Steve Hart 22:13, 24 June 2007 (UTC)
I've reintroduced the POV tag. This bit about Gladio needs clean-up. It probably needs to be removed, because there is little factual information that Delle Chiaie's actions were part of Gladio. Intangible2.0 19:42, 1 July 2007 (UTC)
Apart of his own testimony, that is... and of the investigations in Italy... Tazmaniacs 11:54, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
None of that is in the claims made by this marginal op-ed in Le Monde. It only tells of a supposed meeting, without even going into details why this meeting is supposed to be significant. Intangible2.0 16:16, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
