Written style
editIt is a very well written piece to sugar coat the facts about a power hungry tyrant. Can someone rewrite this article without so much use of rhetoric? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.125.126.53 (talk) 04:21, 30 December 2013 (UTC)

- In the Britannica source it stands "c.1844" rather than "1844". So, this is not meant to be the exact date. Andres 05:17, 29 August 2007 (UTC)

editVarious comments made regarding the sale of Hazara's by pashtuns inside Kandahar and then Pakistan and the manner in which they are made seem to allude us to thinking the author was racist and suffers from minority syndrome (being overly defensive due to belonging to a minority). The comments have had no citations since they were requested in 2009 and one would have to assume it is pure speculation and not fact. Another interesting fact is that during the reign of Amir Abdur Rahman the durrand agreement was signed and the freedom to cross the border into British India was severely limited with signs and checkpoints along the way disallowing any illegal crossing.
