The spelling "abecediary" seems to be a outlier, much less common than "abecedary" and not etymologically supported by the original post-classical latin "abecedarium". It seems to be almost never used in scholarly writing and rarely anywhere else either. Important dictionaries like OED and Websters don't even list it as an alternative. Calling it a spelling error would probably not be far off the mark. Anyway I'm changing it and moving this page to abecedary. We also need to merge with abecedarium as it is essentially the same.
