Checking against the GA criteria

edit
GA review (see here for what the criteria are, and here for what they are not)
  1. It is reasonably well written.
a (prose, no copyvios, spelling and grammar):   b (MoS for lead, layout, word choice, fiction, and lists):
"was a convicted counterfeiter whose death is closely tied to Old Newgate Prison after fatally falling during an escape attempt the night before the close of the prison" - sentence is quite choppy and could do with a split
"Starkey was from Roxbury, Massachusetts" - shouldn't this be born?
"but they were finally discovered the secret" - grammatically incorrect
"Sheriff Johnson of Worcester" - can Worcester be linked?
"In prison, Starkey was able to save up and set aside a good amount of money, but his good behavior" - however his good behavior
  2. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
a (reference section):   b (citations to reliable sources):   c (OR):
  3. It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects):   b (focused):
  4. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
  5. It is stable.
    No edit wars, etc.:
  6. It is illustrated by images and other media, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free content have fair use rationales):   b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
  7. Overall:
    Pass/Fail:

I done some copyediting if that's OK. I noted a couple of prose issues above, but nothing serious enough for this to be put on hold. Article is a little short but acceptable for something as scarce as this. Sounds like the Shawshank Redemption!   JAGUAR  20:13, 2 November 2015 (UTC)Reply
