I will be adding sections on significant figures, such as Ransome-Kuti, and the impact of/later events related to the women's revolt. This article already mentions these topics, but only within a large block of text which makes it difficult for readers to quickly find the information they are looking for. Close paraphrasing
editThe line "Under the new structure, the former councils and kings that had ruled each township in Abeokuta (and which, by tradition, had each included at least one female member) were incorporated into one dominant council that was headed by the Alake, the senior oba (king)." is extremely close paraphrasing from a sentence in source 1, which states, "Under the eug, the multiple councils and kings who ruled each township in Abeokuta were streamlined into one dominant council headed by the Alake, the senior oba (king)." "Taxation would be suspended and the final decisions on the issue communicated to them within three days."
