Granddaughter vs grandchild
editGunilla Kreiss is referred to by Wikipedia (Main page under Did you know 8-22-21) as the academic granddaughter of Heinz-Otto Kreiss. The reference should use a relationship designation that would work for a non-binary individual. - Why? Do you have any reason to believe that Kreiss is non-binary, or that the terminology of academic genealogy is usually discussed using only deliberately-nonbinary nomenclature? Searching Google Scholar finds strong evidence to the contrary: 118 hits for "academic grandson", 29 for "academic granddaughter", and 76 for "academic grandchild". —David Eppstein (talk) 01:40, 23 August 2021 (UTC)
