Proposed membership

I suggest that the whole "Proposed membership" section of the relations article should be moved here as the history section while leaving in that section short summary about accession process. True. I just don't think duplicating so much here and on Ukraine–European Union relations is a good thing. Perhaps Ukraine–European Union relations § Proposed European Union membership could be trimmed instead? Tol (talk | contribs) @ 01:11, 15 April 2022 (UTC)

Accession of Ukraine to the European Union → Ukraine's Accelerated Accession to the European Union – I propose to move this page to "Ukraine's Accelerated Accession to the European Union" as on Ukrainian, Russian and two Belarusian Wikipedias. That is, to make this article only specifically about the newest accelerated procedure from the European Commission. In turn, rename the article about Ukraine–European Union relations to "Accession of Ukraine to the European Union" as was the case with Kosovo, Albania, Northern Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro and BiH. And slightly rework the current article about "Ukraine–European Union relations". By the way, on the Russian and Italian Wikipedia, the article on relations has already been renamed the accession. • Oppose  Over half this article is “Background.” It’s the bold lead and subheadings that should be changed to match the actual subject and current title. • Oppose. I think we should have two articles: one on Ukraine–EU relations, and one specifically on accession. That is what we have now. Having one article on relations and accession and one specifically on the accelerated process would be more confusing. If the page were to be moved, I think the title should be Accelerated accession of Ukraine to the European Union for consistency and to follow capitalisation rules. errors in article

this article makes a few fundamental mistakes. calling it the Russian Ukrainian war when it is really the US Russian war that takes place in Ukraine. the US has committed acts of war against Germany and Russia by destroying the nordstream pipeline 98.13.96.101 (talk) 02:12, 27 March 2023 (UTC)
