editHello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just modified one external link on Acherontiscus. Please take a moment to review my edit. If you have any questions, or need the bot to ignore the links, or the page altogether, please visit this simple FaQ for additional information. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/web/20100215182654/http://palaeontology.palass-pubs.org/pdf/Vol%2012/Pages%20537-548.pdf to http://palaeontology.palass-pubs.org/pdf/Vol%2012/Pages%20537-548.pdf

Prefrontals and nostrils
editIn the adelospondyls-as-colosteids section, the text said: "Marjanović (2010) claimed that the prefrontal not only contacted the orbits, but also the nares (nostrils), a colosteid characteristic which has been found in adelospondyls by some studies[ref] but not by others.[ref]" As I have since learned, that is not in fact known in any colosteids: none of them has an undamaged nose. This was first pointed out by Lombard & Bolt (2010, description of Deltaherpeton) and is discussed further in one of the first few characters in Appendix S1 of my 2019 paper with Michel Laurin.
I have not checked the rest of the article for outdated bits of information, because unfortunately I don't have time. Just make sure the redescription of the skull (2019) is taken into account. David Marjanović (talk) 15:26, 7 May 2019 (UTC)
- I will be updating the page in the future and I appreciate any help given. Just make sure to be careful of Wikipedia's original research rules since you're one of the authors being cited. Fanboyphilosopher (talk) 22:52, 9 May 2019 (UTC)
