- ... that records of Acoutsina's captivity allow historians to analyse the eighteenth century French-Eskimo relationship? Source: "Acoutsina’s story and the statements she made permit us to assess Euro-Eskimo relations a century after the establishment of the French colony." [1]
- ALT1: ... that there are no records of Acoutsina after she was freed from French captivity? Source: "After the exchange of gifts the two parties separated, and thus ends the story of Acoutsina, who was not heard of again." [2]

- Over-5x expansion from 411B to 4190B verified. Heavily based on one source, but without inappropriate copying (per Earwig) and that source, the Dictionary of Canadian Biography, is very reliable. Even the parts that looked like they might not be properly sourced, like the difficulty of sourcing information from this period, turn out to be well sourced in this biography. QPQ done. I find ALT0 much more interesting than ALT1, which is, more or less, we don't know much about someone you haven't heard of: why should readers care about that? Good to go with ALT0. —David Eppstein (talk) 19:31, 28 May 2022 (UTC)
