Identity of the Angel

edit

In Roman Catholic Tradition there are three recognized Archangels: Michael, Gabriel and Raphael. The Catholic Orthodox (eastern) recognizes a fourth. In Canon books recognized by all Christian churches (and Jewish Bible) only Michael and Gabriel are identified by name. Gabriel is always associated with important messages and with the Virgin Mary and He is the Patron Saint of Portugal, however It is Saint Michael who is attributed with the early visits both at Garabandal and at Fatima by the visionaries (as it has been reported)

The previously provided name doesn't conform Roman Catholic tradition as suggested, nor the eastern one.

If references are missing they can be added. They were also missing in the previous format. (also: provided link of Apparition of Saint Michael to a nun in Portugal is a wikipedia article of an accepted private revelation in Roman Catholic church, where he's regarded as prince of the church of Jesus, also see Pope Leo XIII prayer to Saint Michael). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 41.223.4.33 (talk) 19:58, 2 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
